I'm watching the special on Borneo and reading about it on WWF and apparently a large reason for the deforestation is palm oil -- something that is used in chocolates, lip balms, chapstics, and detergents.
Sad thing is that it is a good biofuel... if only they could find a way to produce it without destroying forests.
